Very simple system to mount your tail, mount has a bracket on back with screws Tail will simply clamp in place (shims and glue may be needed).
Wood grain/color will vary from item to item, I DO NOT CONSIDER SMALL WORM HOLES OR KNOTS/CRACKS TO BE DEFECTS IN THE WOOD. Rustic and weathered materials will likely have defects like: knots, cracks/checks, wormholes. Large Defects will be filled with epoxy and they will not affect the integrity of the piece.
