Handcrafted. Reclaimed. Local.
I believe that every piece of wood has a story worth telling. Specializing in fine woodworking for the outdoor sportsman, I create taxidermy plaques, fly boxes, and gun racks that honor the spirit of the hunt. But my work doesn't stop at the trophy room—with a full-scale shop featuring CNC routing, laser engraving, and traditional hand-tools, I can design and build almost anything for your home or business.
The "Tree-to-Finish" Difference
I am one of the few craftsmen who handles my material every single step of the way. My process is a labor of love:
Salvage: I rescue "Urban Lumber" from local residences, city parks, and areas cleared for development.
Mill & Dry: Using a portable sawmill, I harvest the timber to my own specifications and have it dried in a local kiln.
Craft: From the rough-sawn board to the final hand-rubbed finish, every cut and engraving is done right here in my shop.
Why Urban Lumber?
The magnitude of wood "waste" in the U.S. is staggering. According to the U.S. Forest Service, five billion board feet of usable lumber—about 1/3 of all hardwood harvested in the U.S.—is cut from urban areas. Most of it is simply chipped for mulch or buried in landfills.
By reclaiming this wood, I’m not just building furniture or sporting gear; I’m saving a $2.5 billion resource and giving it a second life. When you work with me, you aren't just getting a mass-produced product—you’re getting a piece of the local landscape, expertly crafted to last a lifetime.
